First Visit

Visiting Our Team for the First Time?

At Alpharetta Comprehensive Dentistry, we believe that lasting dental health starts with getting to know our patients one-on-one. During your first visit, we strive to make you feel comfortable and informed at every step of your treatment.

Your initial appointment includes a consultation to discuss your diagnosis and treatment options. Occasionally, treatment can be done the same day as the consultation. However, a complex medical history or treatment plan may require a second appointment to complete your care.

Please assist us by bringing the following to your consultation:

• A referral slip and any X-rays, if applicable
• A list of any medications you are currently taking
• Completed insurance forms if you have medical or dental coverage. This will save time and help us process any claims.

Important: All patients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at the consultation visit.

Please notify our office if you have a medical condition (such as diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves or joints, rheumatic fever) or if you are on any specific medications (such as heart medications, aspirin, or anticoagulants) so we can provide the safest and most effective care.

X-Ray

If your dentist or physician has taken x-rays, you may request that they forward them to our office. If time is limited, please pick them up and bring them with you. Additional films, if needed, can be taken at our facility.
